My cousin Brandi shared this recipe with a bunch of us on Facebook. It sounded so delicious and right up my alley that I will be trying it soon. When I do, I’ll add a note to this post (note as of 1/8/12 – check out my post about the dish here).  Frankly, since Brandi is from West Texas, I’m a little surprised this recipe didn’t include Rotel or some chili powder (WHEW those folks love their hot sauce).
